Bicol International Airport nears completion

THE Department of Transportation reported the Bicol International Airport (BIA) in Daraga, Albay remains on track for its target completion by September 2021 and be fully operational by 2022.

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, who successfully landed at the BIA runway aboard a Gulfstream G150 last Friday, said the airport is now 90 percent complete.
