Stocks climb further

THE Philippine stock index extended its rally and ended above the 6,500 level on Tuesday.

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) jumped by 1.77 percent or 113.75 points to close at another day high of 6,560.06, while the broader All Shares gained 1.39 percent or 55.55 points to finish at 4,040.82.
