NMP yields 5% more trainees amid Covid-19

The National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP), the sole government maritime training and research agency of the country, has recorded a five percent increase in the number of seafarers it intended to train this year.

NMP Executive Director Joel Maglunsod said the institution exceeded its annual quota of 6,000 trainees.
