Pinoy sprinter Knott fails to enter semis in Tokyo

FILIPINO sprinter Kristina Knott failed to enter the semifinal round in the women's 200-meter event, as she finished fifth in heat 7 at the Tokyo Olympics on Monday at the Olympic Stadium.

Knott, who is half American, clocked in 23.80 seconds which was only good for the fifth spot in the race. Only the top three in the heat advanced to the semifinal round.
