'Tighter restrictions to delay Delta surge'

THE Department of Health (DoH) said the increased restrictions, particularly in the National Capital Region (NCR), will help the country prepare for a possible surge in Covid-19 cases triggered by the highly infectious Delta variant.

Metro Manila will shift into a much stricter enhanced community quarantine starting Friday to fight the alarming spread of Covid-19 cases in the region.
