The Department of Health (DoH) said on Saturday that it would step up the vaccination of senior citizens against Covid-19 following a World Health Organization (WHO) warning of low inoculation rate among the age group in the country.
WHO Philippine Representative Dr. Rabindra Abeyasinghe in a statement on Friday said the current rate of 25-percent full vaccination and 35-percent first-dose vaccination among the country's senior citizens is "concerning."
