Duterte OKs cash aid for areas under ECQ

President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the distribution of cash aid to residents living in areas under the strictest enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said Thursday each beneficiary will receive P1,000 cash, but not more than P4,000 per family, through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
