BARGAIN hunting prevailed in the local bourse on Wednesday after the government kept the quarantine restrictions in the Metro Manila until the first half of August.

The Philippine Stock Exchange index rallied and was up by 0.36 percent or 23.50 points to close at 6,496.53, while the broader All Shares gained 0.8 percent or 31.94 points to finish at 4,042.03.
