About 1,440 fully vaccinated individuals were found positive for Covid-19 after undergoing swab testing, Cagayan de Oro City epidemiologist Dr. Joselito Retuya said. Retuya released the figure on Tuesday during a press briefing with the local press. He said out of the 1,440 individuals, 940 were vaccinated with Sinovac, 340 with AstraZeneca, 107 with Pfizer and 53 with Sputnik. Retuya said most patients showed only moderate to mild symptoms while others were asymptomatic. He said the patients underwent the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction swab testing. 'So far, only few were reported to have experienced severe symptoms when admitted for recovery,' Retuya said.
