Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Jose Maria "Joey" Concepcion 3rd recommended the implementation of a two-week "circuit breaker" or hard lockdown in August to curb the spread of the highly transmissible Delta variant of the coronavirus disease.
Concepcion on Wednesday said the "circuit breaker" will "save our fourth quarter, or else, the entire year will be destroyed for many, especially the [micro, small and medium enterprises]."
