YANGON: Myanmar's Union Election Commission (UEC) canceled the results of the previous multiparty general elections held on November 8 last year, state media reported, quoting the commission's announcement.

According to the commission's announcement, the results were canceled as the elections were not held in line with laws and were not fair. The commission has inspected voter lists and the casting of votes, and found voting frauds, the announcement said.
