Grenade, IEDs found in terrorist lair

The Philippine Army discovered homemade bombs and a fragmentation grenade in an abandoned terrorist lair after a brief encounter last Sunday.

The 601st Infantry Brigade immediately deactivated the improvised explosive devices (IEDs) recovered in the hideout of the Dawlah Islamiya (DI) bomber Jaiden Nilong in a secluded area near the border of T'boli and Polomolok, South Cotabato.
