THE Philippines logged 4,478 new cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Wednesday, pushing the total to 1.567 million infections, according to the Department of Health (DoH).
The low figure was attributed to the late extraction of Covid-19 data on Monday and Tuesday.
