PSEi rebounds to 6,500

THE local bourse staged a rebound and climbed to the 6,500 territory as investors turned largely to bargain hunting on Tuesday.

The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index soared by 2.35 percent or 149.97 points to its day high of 6,522.58 while the wider All Shares gained 1.88 percent or 74.6 points to finish at 4,039.75.
