Parlade retires, Bacarro named new Solcom chief

LT. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr., who became controversial for 'red-tagging' some personalities and groups, has retired, the Armed Forces of the Philippines announced on Monday.

Parlade reached the mandatory age of retirement on Sunday after 38 years in the military.
