Despite deterioration caused by the coronavirus pandemic in 2019, the Philippines' fiscal metrics are stronger than its peers, according to Moody's Investors Service.
In a fresh report released on Monday, it said, "The Philippines has sustained its position compared with rating peers because of the strengthening of its fiscal metrics ahead ofthe pandemic shock."
