IT has been a year and a half since Covid-19 hit the Philippines. With many businesses adjusting to the new norm, many are really striving to be relevant to these days.
According to the latest survey of the Department of Trade and Industry, around 46 percent of MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) are partially opening and 44 percent are fully operational while 10 percent are still closed. With sales performance from 90-percent down in 2020 versus 53.8-percent down in June 2021.
