PH adds Malaysia, Thailand to travel ban over Delta threat

THE Philippine government has expanded its travel ban to include Malaysia and Thailand in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) variant, which was first discovered in India.

Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said the imposition of the travel ban on Malaysia and Thailand would take effect starting 12:01 a.m. of July 25 until 11:59 p.m. of July 31.
