Signal No. 1 up over Batanes, Babuyan as 'Fabian' heads out of PH

SIGNAL No. 1 is up over Batanes and Babuyan Islands as 'Fabian', now a typhoon, maintains its strength while moving slowly out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the state-run weather bureau said on Thursday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Fabian was 535 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
