Manila breaks ground for new school

MANILA Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso on Monday led the groundbreaking rites for the construction of a 10-story building at the Rosauro Almario Elementary School in Tondo.

The building will have 227 fully air-conditioned classrooms, 12 offices, a library, an auditorium and a gymnasium. It will also have two basketball courts that can be converted into a football field, and two roof deck outdoor sports and exercise areas.
