DepEd releases ₱3.7B to boost Covid-19 response in schools

THE Department of Education (DepEd) has released P3.7 billion in additional funding to 44,851 public schools for maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) to strengthen their response against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

The funds will be allocated for the reinforcement of the new normal set-up and the implementation of minimum health requirements in schools.
