The City of Manila is currently employing a cutting-edge system to enforce traffic regulations called the No Contact Apprehension Program (NCAP).
"NCAP employs advanced traffic management technology through a network of cutting-edge camera systems powered by computer-vision artificial intelligence. These visual inputs from camera images and video are interpreted to identify erring motorists who violate the respective city's traffic ordinance without the need for enforcers," said Wilson Chan Jr., division chief of the Manila Traffic Division.
