Chery Tiggo first to win in PVL's first pro season

Chery Tiggo became the first team to register a win in the Premier Volleyball League's (PVL) first professional season, thrashing PLDT, 25-20, 25-17, 25-6 in the Open Conference on Saturday at the PCV Socio-Civic Cultural Center in Baccara, Ilocos Norte.

The Crossovers jumped on the Fibr Hitters in the third set, as they launched a 17-1 killer run capped by Joy Dacoron's back-to-back hits to turn an 8-5 lead into a 25-6 triumph.
