TUGUEGARAO CITY: The Cagayan Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit recorded 120 new Covid-19 active cases on Wednesday. Claveria town posted 22 new cases, hiking the town's active cases to 170. Tuguegarao City has 19 and Solana, 15. Two deaths were reported with one each in Claveria and Lal-lo towns. An aggressive mass testing is ongoing in Claveria since Monday. Provincewide, only Tuguegarao City has Covid-19 positive patients, listed at 22, who were placed under home quarantine. Cagayan has 18, 627 accumulated cases of Covid-19 positives since the pandemic has started in March last year. At least 17,008 have recovered with new 111 recoveries on Wednesday.
