TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan: The Department of Agriculture (DA) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) allocated P96 million for the distribution of sentinel pigs to hog farmers affected by the African swine fever (ASF) outbreak.

Roberto Busania, DA-Cagayan Valley regional technical director for operations and extension services, said P21 million has been earmarked for the first batch and the remaining P75 million will be used for the second batch of distribution.
