Cagayan State U study reveals factors affecting K-12 graduates 'college readiness'



A RECENT study led by a Cagayan province-based university revealed at least five factors that affect college readiness among K-12 graduates in the Philippines, which according to the researchers must be given primary consideration in planning for curriculum alignment, transition interventions and college admissions.

The Cagayan State University (CSU) project study led by Dr. Antonio Tamayao was funded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) through the Discovery-Applied Research for Trans/Inter-disciplinary Opportunities Grant or DARE TO amounting to P10.4 million.
