Duterte: Communist rebels in 'throes of death'

President Rodrigo Duterte expressed hope the government will dismantle the communist rebel group by the end of his term next year, as the military continues its fight against the guerrilla fronts in the country.

Duterte lauded the efforts of the Armed Forces of the Philippines to dismantle all remaining guerilla fronts of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).
