The Suzuki Vitara has a strong following here in the Banana Republic. Aside from having this distinct "boxy" exterior design, this Sports UTE looks sophisticated, yet one can take it on a muddy trail on a weekend and party at a posh hotel on a Monday. Never mind if the Vitara's fuel efficiency is not something frugal Ilocoslovakians like me would approve on, the damn thing looks good. End of story.
So, when Suzuki launched this latest version of their popular Sports UTE, the domestic market was abuzz with excitement. You can just imagine my delight when a test unit popped up in my garage a week after the launch of the Vitara AllGrip variant.
