After their Game 2 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, the Phoenix Suns are two games away from their first ever championship in NBA history. The Suns have been in the league for 53 years and have not won a single championship. Prior to this, they have made it to the NBA Finals twice.
The Suns were able to fend off a monster game from two-time Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo to grab a crucial win in Game 2 that gave them a commanding 0-2 lead. Giannis literally carried the Bucks on his back, finishing with 42 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and a steal. His performance becomes even more amazing when you consider that he suffered a hyperextended knee in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Atlanta Hawks a week and a half ago. It was only the sixth time in NBA Finals history that a player registered at least 40 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks.
