Magnitude 6 quake jolts Davao Occidental

A MAGNITUDE 6 earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Saturday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

The quake at 8:43 a.m. was 297 kilometers southeast of Sarangani province, which is also in Davao Occidental, Phivolcs chief Renato Solidum Jr. told The Manila Times.
