CBCP elects new president

STAUNCH administration critic Bishop Pablo Virgilio David of Caloocan City is the new president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).

The 130-member CBCP elected David on Thursday at the start of the Conference's two-day plenary assembly.
