Staunch Duterte critic named CBCP president

STAUNCH administration critic Bishop Pablo Virgilio David of Kalookan is the new president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).

The 130-member CBCP elected David on Thursday at the start of the Conference's two-day only plenary assembly.
