Bong Go backs AFP modernization

SEN. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go underscored the importance of modernizing the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), days after an Air Force plane crashed in Sulu, killing 53.

The vice chairman of the Senate Committee on National Defense backed efforts to modernize the military.
