Firms look to hire more, grow operations

Businesses are looking to hire more staff this quarter as more of them want to grow their operations, according to a poll conducted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

In its recently released Business Expectation Survey (BES), the central bank said the percentage of enterprises planning to expand in the industry sector increased to 21.1 percent for the third quarter, up from 20.6 percent in the survey results.
