A new report titled "International Public Opinion on Climate Change" revealed that 75 percent of Filipinos are "alarmed" and "concerned" about climate change.
The report, which is an international survey initiated by the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication in partnership with Facebook Data for Good, investigated public climate change knowledge, attitudes, policy preferences, and behavior among Facebook users in more than 30 countries, including the Philippines. Over 75,000 Facebook monthly active users participated in the study.
