Nineteen barangay (villages) in Laak town in Davao de Oro have been declared drug-free by the Regional Oversight Committee Barangay Drug Clearing Program.
In a ceremony held at the Laak Municipal Grounds on Monday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 11 said the declaration was the result of the intensified anti-illegal drugs campaign by the police and barangay officials in said province.
