1,920 distressed Filipino workers flown home in June -- DFA

THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) flew home 1,920 distressed Filipino workers (OFWs) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in June as three more repatriation flights are scheduled in July.

In a statement, the DFA said among those repatriated were 347 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who left Dubai on Friday aboard a special chartered flight.
