With a post-pandemic recovery in sight for the Philippines, the time is ripe to pursue foreign direct investment opportunities specifically from one of its largest trade partners, the United States.
This strong recommendation came from Jose E.B. Antonio, the Philippines' Special Envoy to the US for trade and investments, whose office is convening a public-private sector effort to invite American companies to put up or relocate their businesses in the country. "This is the best time to lay the groundwork and put the country back in the radar to attract new investments," he said.
