LOANS provided by banks' foreign currency deposit units (FCDUs) fell to $16.3 billion as of the end of March this year, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
The central bank said in a statement on Wednesday that the current sum was $315 million, or 1.9 percent, lower than the end-December 2020 level of $16.7 billion, since "principal repayments surpassed disbursements."
