PEZA wants ecozone devt in NCR

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) will seek clarification from the Office of the President (OP) and other government agencies on whether or not the development of economic zones in Metro Manila is already allowed.

In a virtual briefing on Tuesday, PEZA Deputy Director General for Policy and Planning Tereso Panga said the clarification is needed as the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (Create) Act already allows the development of eligible projects in Metro Manila.
