An alleged leader of the New People's Army (NPA) died after soldiers and elite policemen engaged the rebels in a clash in Dinalupihan, Bataan, the military said on Monday.
The Philippine Army's 7th Infantry Division, which covers Central Luzon, identified the leader as a certain "Boy" or "Randy," whom authorities said was the vice commander of NPA rebels based in Bataan province.
