OPM singers lend voices in Aquino's wake

FORMER president Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino 3rd, who passed away on Thursday, is known to be a music lover. In fact, at his inaugural ceremony and street after-party on June 30, 2010 at the Quirino Grandstand and at the Quezon Memorial Circle, respectively, the programs were filled with OPM singers who brought their A-game in performing for the historical event.

Today, as he is laid to rest at the Manila Memorial Park beside his parents and democracy icons Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr. and Corazon Aquino, it is but fitting to send him off with songs he truly loved.

Husband and wife Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez sing ‘Hindi Ka Nag-Iisa,’ the former president’s 2010 campaign song.
