SENATOR Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, joined President Rodrigo Duterte at the Malacañang Palace on Thursday as the latter signed 13 measures crafted to increase hospital bed capacity and to provide quality care and services especially amid an ongoing global health crisis.
"I will not stop fighting for what is good for our countrymen, especially our poor brothers/ sisters. No matter how hard it is, if it is for the good of the people, I will fight for it," said Go in his sponsorship speech.
