Ex-president Noynoy Aquino laid to rest

FORMER president Benigno Simeon 'Noynoy' Aquino 3rd was laid to rest on Saturday sans the crowd and chants that accompanied those of his parents, former president Corazon 'Cory' Aquino and former senator Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr., when they passed away.

Due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, health protocols such as the wearing of face masks and face shields and physical distancing were observed during the wake and funeral rites for Aquino.
