Western Visayas remains free of ASF

BACOLOD CITY: Western Visayas remains free of African swine fever (ASF) even as the highly contagious and deadly viral disease is ravaging other areas in the region.

Based on the latest national ASF zoning status issued by the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), all areas in Region 6 remain free of ASF with zero cases reported from June 9 to 15, 2021.
