Cardinal Advincula installed as 33rd Manila archbishop

CARDINAL Jose Advincula on Thursday was officially installed as the 33rd archbishop of the Archdiocese of Manila, succeeding Cardinal Antonio Tagle who left the post in February 20202 for a new assignment in the Vatican.

Advincula was installed in a simple ceremony at the historic Manila Cathedral, attended by only 400 selected guests that include bishops and the mayors of the five cities in Metro Manila, which are under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila.
