Soldiers seize NPA rebels' arms cache in Abra town

TUBO, Abra: Government forces were able to seize assorted firearms from an alleged arms cache of the New People's Army (NPA) which was discovered during a joint operation conducted at Sitio Batayan, Barangay Alangtin here last Sunday.

Reports from the military and police authorities stated an intelligence operation was launched after former NPA rebels revealed an arms cache hidden in the area.
