NEW weapons and military equipment worth P183 million ($3.8 million) were delivered to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Clark Air Base in Mabalacat, Pampanga on Monday, according to a report released by the United States (US) Embassy in the Philippines on Tuesday.
The US Embassy said the officials of the Joint United States Military Assistance Group-Philippines (JUSMAG-P) conducted the delivery financed by the Philippine national funds and US grant assistance.
