Over 170 resorts in Bataan closed

BALANGA City, Bataan: The Provincial Tourism Office on Monday announced the temporary closure of inland and beach resorts in 11 towns and one city in Bataan.

This was after the quarantine status in the province was changed from modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) to a stricter modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Raven Resort in Abucay, Bataan has ceased accepting tourists and customers. Resort owners, instead, opened their hotel rooms as a quarantine facility for medical frontliners. PHOTO BY ERNIE ESCONDE
