BATANGAS became the first province to declare that some of its areas are free of the African swine fever (ASF), a bureau under of the Department of Agriculture reported on Monday.
In a statement, the Agricultural Training Institute-International Training Center for Pig Husbandry (ATI-ITCPH) said the municipalities of Rosario, Malvar, Taysan, San Jose, Nasugbu as well as Lipa City were declared ASF-free zones recently.
